About The Role
As a
Senior Analytics Engineer
for the
Incentives
team, you will be much more than a data expert, you will actively contribute to shaping the way we serve our customers. You will empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products. In this role, you will support the Incentives Product Analytics team by building robust data foundations and enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.
Your work will help us find the customers who benefit most from our services, provide the best of our products to them, and better understand our customers and their needs, directly contributing to Bolt's mission of cities for people.You will own everything between the data producers and data consumers, and be a sparring partner to both.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Partner with product and incentives analysts to prioritise and align analytics engineering roadmaps that address long-term business needs.
- Build, expand, and maintain reusable data models and metrics in dbt.
- Set up and manage the architecture, documentation, and key data transformations for in-house and third-party data.
- Improve the efficiency and impact of growth analysts through data products, processes, collaboration, and active knowledge-sharing.
- Develop strategic data products, such as a segmentation feature store, or enable advanced solutions such as interactive metrics trees.
- Follow system design and architectural best practices and closely collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data integrity and efficiency across all processes.
About you:
- You hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business, or similar studies.
- You have significant experience with data modeling, developing analytics architectures for large volumes of data, and can demonstrate tangible impact in the area
- You are proficient in SQL, Python, Spark, data modelling tools such as dbt, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- You possess excellent knowledge of system design and architectural best practices with a focus on reusability, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
- You are a strong cross-functional collaborator with a good business sense and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Previous exposure to Business Intelligence tools, ideally with Looker.
