Threod Systems is a leading Provider of Battle-Tested Military Technology Solutions. We are a world-class technology and engineering company that designs and manufactures market-leading Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Electro-Optical Systems and Aircraft Launching Systems for critical defence missions, governmental and commercial applications.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing and talented engineering team.

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop required modules, components, and supporting elements using Solid Edge CAD software.
  • Design and model mechanical parts in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Work within our Product Data Management (PDM) system to manage design files, revisions, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of developed components.
  • Ensure that all designs meet functional, quality, and manufacturability requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design or engineering
  • Proficiency in using CAD software (Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical components
  • Ability to read and create detailed technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with industry standards and quality requirements
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a project-based environment
  • Good communication skills; proficiency in Estonian and English (written and spoken)
