, we enable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to operate independently of global navigation satellite systems and radio control, using computer vision and machine learning. We partner with multiple UAV manufacturers to deliver cost effective capabilities to public sector and defence customers. Our core team has substantial experience in aerospace engineering and developing computer vision applications across Europe, including at companies like Bolt (EE), Open Cosmos (UK), and Starship Technologies (EE).
As an
electronics engineer
you'll be working in a cross functional team to develop and manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our product's electronics platform. This includes fast prototyping, making hardware of various complexity work and cooperating with internal and external stakeholders for platform development.
What you will be doing
- Leading the design and integration of PCBs, embedded systems, power management solutions, and communication modules
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, product management) to define requirements, integrate hardware with software, and ensure seamless system operation
- Performing detailed analysis, simulation, and validation of electronic designs to meet performance, reliability, and regulatory standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Evaluating new technologies and components to incorporate into future drone designs
- Contributing to the development of best practices within the (electronics) engineering team
We are looking for
Required skills:
- Previous job experience as an electronics engineer
- Proficient with ECAD tools (for example Altium Designer, KiCad, PADS etc)
- Experience with high reliability designs and/or industries
- Experience with compliance, certification and/or common standards
Additional skills that are nice to have:
- RF experience
- Degree in electronics or similar field
- Experience with drones or other unmanned vehicles
