We're hitting records on an almost weekly basis. Now is an exciting time to join as we grow rapidly around the world
We are seeking a Payroll & People Analytics Specialist to join our People team in Estonia.
This hybrid role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely payroll coordination across Europe while also transforming our people data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of payroll processes and a strong passion for data analysis and storytelling.
This is partially a new role for our team, which means you will have an exciting opportunity to build out the People Analytics function, being the key mediator for exchanging and interpreting data between the People team/systems, Finance team/Payroll systems, and our external Payroll Partners.
Your main responsibilities are:
Payroll Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate multi-country payroll processes (Finland, UK, Germany, Estonia) to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Provide clean and validated payroll data to our external partners and serve as the main contact for payroll-related queries
- Ensure full compliance with all local payroll regulations and company policies, keeping up-to-date with any legislative changes
People Analytics & Insights
- Develop Reports & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain reports and interactive dashboards to track key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation, diversity & inclusion, recruitment effectiveness)
- Analyze Trends: Go beyond reporting numbers to analyze trends in employee data, identifying root causes and providing leadership with data-driven recommendations
- Ensure Data Integrity: Partner with the People team to ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity across our HR systems (e.g., BambooHR), serving as a guardian of our people data
- Support Strategic Projects: Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as compensation reviews, workforce planning, and performance management cycles
What's in it for you?
- Opportunity to work on industry-leading self-driving delivery robot technology on a uniquely large scale, creating history and making things happen
- You can immerse yourself in the world of technology and innovation
- You will have a chance to work with people with a strong inner burning and motivation. We are self-aware and seek feedback and improvement. We don't want to wait until we are told what needs to be done but take it as a matter of pride to figure out solutions for topics in various teams and areas
- You'll have endless opportunities to learn from our inspirational, talented team members across the globe
What we hope you'll bring to the table:
- In-depth understanding of payroll processes and employment laws in Europe, specifically in Finland and Estonia. Knowledge of payroll processes in the UK and Germany is a huge plus
- A strong analytical and quantitative mindset with the ability to interpret data and tell a compelling story
- Mastery of Google Sheets for complex data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with HRIS and employee data management systems (e.g., BambooHR)
- Proficiency in English; Estonian language is beneficial
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
