Quality Assurance Engineer
ensures the delivery of high-quality software by designing and implementing comprehensive testing processes. This role involves collaborating with development teams, identifying and resolving defects, and maintaining automation frameworks to support efficient testing cycles. With a focus on quality and attention to detail, the QA Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of software products.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Automate repetitive test cases and maintain automation frameworks
  • Review and analyze system specifications to identify testing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of continuous testing solutions
  • Assist in deploying software updates to production environments and provide ongoing support to identify and resolve issues post-deployment
  • Take responsibility in professional self-development and contribute to own and team performance improvement by constructive feedback and relevant suggestions

What We Expect:

  • Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC)
  • Knowledge of QA tools and processes, including defect tracking tools like JIRA
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Postman
  • Knowledge of API testing
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
