The Employee Experience Senior Specialist is the program owner for Bolt's global onboarding experience. This role is responsible for leading the design, automation, and continuous improvement of onboarding at scale - ensuring that every new hire quickly becomes a productive, engaged, and connected member of Bolt. In addition to onboarding, this role will contribute to cross-team Talent Management initiatives such as performance management, diversity & inclusion, and leadership development, helping to shape a world-class People Experience. The Senior Specialist also facilitates live onboarding sessions, building strong connections with new hires while reinforcing Bolt's culture and operating principles.
Your daily adventures will include:
- Design, standardise, and automate the global onboarding journey, ensuring consistency across markets while allowing for local flexibility.
- Leverage AI automations and existing platforms (e.g., LMS, Enboarder, Lattice, Docebo, Slack, Make) to streamline onboarding workflows and communications.
- Facilitate live onboarding sessions and events to engage new hires and bring Bolt's culture to life.
- Regularly review and iterate onboarding processes based on feedback, data, and employee experience trends.
- Host and facilitate live onboarding sessions and events to connect new hires to Bolt's culture, operating principles, and networks.
- Act as a culture ambassador, ensuring that onboarding reinforces Bolt's high-performance and people-first environment.
- Act as the central decision-maker and facilitator for onboarding, aligning HR, IT, managers, and business leaders to deliver a consistent experience across markets.
- Influence senior stakeholders and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide clear frameworks and guidance for managers on their role in onboarding and early talent engagement.
- Collect and analyse onboarding effectiveness data (e.g., time to productivity, retention, engagement, and early attrition).
- Use insights to recommend improvements and demonstrate the ROI of onboarding initiatives.
- Partner with analytics teams to link onboarding success to broader talent and business metrics.
- Contribute to performance management, leadership development, and D&I programs, ensuring onboarding integrates seamlessly with the full employee lifecycle.
- Partner with the broader Talent Management team to deliver programs that build capability and engagement across the organisation.
- Drive adoption of new onboarding tools, processes, and technologies.
- Ensure onboarding reinforces Bolt's mission, operating principles, and high-performance culture.
- Act as a change champion for new global People initiatives.
We are looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in Employee Experience, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or a related field, with proven ownership of large-scale onboarding or employee lifecycle programs.
- Demonstrated success in program management: designing, scaling, and iterating global processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisations and align senior leaders.
- Expertise in HR technology, LMS platforms, and workflow automation, with experience applying AI-driven solutions in employee experience programs, is a strong advantage.
- Skilled facilitator and presenter, with credibility and presence to engage diverse groups of employees and leaders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and program improvements.
- High sense of ownership, accountability, and independence — comfortable making program-level decisions and driving initiatives forward.
- Passion for employee experience, culture, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, international environment.
