Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist
to help us attract new talent, strengthen our employer brand, and create exceptional experiences for our people.
You will play a key role in shaping how new Markiteers join us and supporting them throughout their journey. And every second year, you'll get to meet the whole global team in person at our Markit Global Summit -
a tradition of learning, collaboration, and celebrating success together.
What You Bring
• Ideally, 2–4 years of experience in recruitment and/or generalist People roles.
• Interest in and good understanding of sourcing methods and employer branding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Experience with People systems (ATS, HRIS). We use HiBob, and prior experience is a bonus - not a requirement.
• A genuine passion for people, culture, and building a great place to work.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken).
What You'll Do
1. Talent Acquisition
• Lead end-to-end recruitment across various roles and countries - from intake to offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs, create job descriptions, and plan smart sourcing strategies.
• Actively source and engage candidates through multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, events, referrals, etc.).
• Coordinate and conduct interviews while ensuring a warm, structured, and genuinely positive and respectful candidate experience.
• Track and analyse hiring efficiency and quality, sharing insights to continuously improve our processes.
2. Employer Branding
• Plan and execute employer branding initiatives together with Marketing, the People team, and our global country and functional teams.
• Grow our presence on LinkedIn, our careers page, and other relevant platforms.
• Create engaging content that showcases our culture, people stories, and opportunities.
• Monitor and report on employer brand performance - reach, engagement, and candidate sentiment.
3. People Operations Support
• Support onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth and friendly employee experience.
• Assist with People data, documentation, and employment administration.
• Contribute to People process improvements, digitalisation efforts, and system enhancements.
• Support internal projects such as engagement surveys, learning initiatives, and wellbeing activities.
• Act as a first point of contact for general People-related questions.
