Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Configure and manage Linux and Windows infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Install and set up software and hardware components to support business operations.
• Apply methodologies such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve outages to maintain seamless IT operations.
• Uphold the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Upgrade systems with the latest releases and models to stay ahead of technological advancements.
• Take on additional relevant tasks as assigned by your team leader, contributing to team success and adaptability.

Qualifications

Components for success. You have...

• Experience with containers/Kubernetes (Rancher, RKE2, Ingress & load balancer)
• Experience with Linux Ubuntu, Oracle Linux, Redhat (RHEL), Windows OS.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet or other automation systems and methodology.
• Experience with VMWare product – vCenter, ESXi, clusters or other virtualization solutions.
• Experience in data backup/recovery and backup systems such as Veeam.
• Experience with HP/DELL servers and mgmt. systems like OneView or Dell Open Manage.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Information Technology
• Experience with AWS - DRS, EC2, load balancing, EFS, S3.
• Experience with Azure – Compute, Storage, Database, Network, Security.
• Experience with networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
• Certified Linux Administrator
• Certified VMWare Administrator

IT TEAM

The Systems and Network Administrator is responsible for supporting Playtech corporate IT infrastructure in data centres and offices in various geographical locations. The Systems Administrator role undertakes the responsibility for tasks such as implementation of corporate policies regarding IT infrastructure, maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the global CORP & Development environments including hardware such as servers, storage devices, UPS devices, monitoring appliances as well as software such as Linux and Windows systems, VMWare infrastructure and backup infrastructure.
