Senior Counsel

We're looking for a Senior Counsel to join our legal team and partner with our HQ, vertical, and regional teams — from Procurement and Marketing to Public Policy and Product.

About the role

As a Senior Counsel, you'll be the go-to legal advisor, driving strategy and ensuring smooth, compliant growth across our global operations.

Main Tasks & Responsbilites:

• Serve as the lead point of contact for your area, overseeing one or more counsels and ensuring high-quality output from your sub-team.
• Provide expert legal advice to HQ and regional teams, combining multiple subject areas to address complex business matters.
• Anticipate business needs, create scalable processes, and develop self-service tools (playbooks, templates, FAQs) to support growth.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage standard supplier contracts, and establish frameworks to streamline contracting.
• Build strong, proactive relationships with stakeholders and the Legal & Compliance team, managing both internal and external legal support.
• Contribute to strategic planning, identify opportunities for automation, and drive implementation across verticals.

About you:

• You are a UK or EU-qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in the tech, mobility, or platform space - whether in-house or at a top-tier firm.
• You have significant experience in commercial contracts (and ideally procurement), marketing, and intellectual property.
• You are a hands-on generalist counsel who thrives on supporting diverse teams, diving deep into commercial contracts, marketing initiatives, and IP matters - delivering pragmatic, business-friendly solutions.
• You are a strong contract drafter and negotiator - clear, commercially minded, and firm when needed.
• You get things done - organised, decisive, and able to meet deadlines.
• You have a true business partner mindset, speaking your stakeholders' language and translating legal risk into smart, actionable decisions.
