Marketing Automation Specialist

Imagine this:
you come across a vacancy that's a perfect fit for you. You're excited, you have the right skills, but… you don't get invited for an interview. Why?
Your CV only shows your work experience - it doesn't reflect that you're results-driven, have strong problem-solving skills, or the ability to quickly learn new things, all of which are crucial for the role.
Frustrating, right?
Welcome to Assessio
Assessio helps companies make objective hiring decisions based on data, not just a CV or gut feeling. This way, we ensure the right people end up in the right positions.
Organizations save time in the recruitment process, improve the quality of their hires, and increase long-term employee engagement.
We do this for more than 2,000 organizations, including Rabobank, G-Star, KLM, Maandag, and PostNL.
What You'll Do
As our Marketing Automation Specialist, you will lead the strategic development and execution of Assessio's marketing automation ecosystem, transforming how we nurture prospects, engage customers, and drive revenue growth. You'll own the end-to-end automation framework — from platform management and campaign workflows to personalization and analytics — ensuring our marketing efforts are seamless, targeted, and highly effective.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, and business insight. You'll collaborate across marketing, sales, and product teams to turn business objectives into sophisticated automation experiences that deliver measurable results and accelerate our growth.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end marketing automation strategies that nurture leads, increase engagement, and drive conversions

- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to enhance campaign effectiveness
- Monitor industry trends and platform updates to leverage best practices and innovative features
- Report on automation performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders
- Ensure all automation activities comply with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Who You Are
- 3+ years in marketing automation or related field, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments
- Proven experience with Hubspot as a marketing automation platform
- Data-driven with a strong ability to analyze performance and optimize campaigns for better results
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of marketing and sales alignment, CRM integration, and personalization
- Creative thinker capable of designing engaging and targeted automated campaigns
