Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia Betsson Group Full time €30,000 - €60,000 per year
The Wow

As technical project manager within Product Development, you will lead tactical and strategical projects supporting Betsson's overall long-term technology transformation. You have a strong ability to see the overall holistic technology transformation Betsson is undertaking. Your wide technology understanding gives you the ability to both translate the details to different stakeholders at the same time you are strong in leading technology experts.

The role will require you to support the organization, primarily the tech departments, by running projects which are in line with the business requirements. As the project leader, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on, making sure that the project is running on schedule.

You interact with both with stakeholders from other Technology units but also different business functions depending on the type of project.

As a technical project manager you will run projects according to best practices both from a project management perspective as well as from a technical perspective.

A taster of what you will be involved with:
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Executing projects by providing/maintaining visibility for requirements, scope, objectives, deliverables, financial impact, and resourcing
  • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks
  • Monitor and report project progress
  • Apply excellent communication skills and practical knowledge to help teams work closely together.
  • Facilitate effective team meetings: kick-offs, regular status updates, weekly catchups
  •  Uncover and remove roadblocks that prevent the various teams from achieving their shared project goals

You're good with:
  • Ability to drive through ambiguous and complex situations
  • Knowledge in using Project Management Tools such as Microsoft Project & JIRA
  • Solid IT technical background
  • A recognized certification in project management such as Prince or Sigma would be a big plus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  •  Strong people management skills
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.

What we offer

Much like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN Then again, what else would you expect from a business 75% millennial and 1700 strong, spread across 7 offices with 900 based out of our Malta HQ alone We recognise it may not be for the faint-hearted, but if you're a go-getter, initiator and adrenaline junkie, always striving to push the boundaries and challenge yourself, then you'll fit right in.
