We are looking for an experienced Group Chief Accountant to ensure financial clarity, accuracy, and compliance across the entire Group. A professional who understands the financial backbone of a fast-growing international organisation and can build trusted processes that support strategic decision-making and reporting. 

You will work closely with the Finance Manager Katrin Laikre and Group CFO Indrek Kaldoja and co-ordinate an experienced Accounting Team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading monthly consolidation of Group companies in cooperation with the Finance Manager, ensuring compliance with IFRS (and local standards when required).
  • Preparing Verston Group's annual financial statements and acting as a key partner in audit processes.
  • Guiding and supporting Accountants, ensuring consistent accounting policies and high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintaining accounting procedures, supporting automation and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Substituting accounting team members when needed to secure continuity.

You bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant in an international Group environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Confidence working with senior leadership and auditors.
  • A positive and solution-oriented attitude in daily work and collaboration.
  • Proactive in using technology to make daily work faster and more efficient.
  • Ability to explain financial matters to internal stakeholders without financial expertise.
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
