The Job in a Nutshell

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of live sports betting as part of the Duty and Events team, working on a 24/7 rotation to provide continuous support. Responsibilities include managing In-Play event mapping, improving the Livebet sports tree, and monitoring the real-time performance of streams, data feeds, and providers. The role involves quickly spotting and reporting any issues to the appropriate teams and supervisors, and staying on top of the feed provider alerts and messages to help maintain the highest quality service. Collaboration is essential, with close cooperation across the team and department to keep everything running smoothly.

A Sneak Peek into Your Role

• Being responsible for mapping all sports events for both pre-match and live betting, including correctly setting up various components. This also involves booking live events and ensuring video streams are scheduled.
• Organizing the sports events list to make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for.
• Monitoring the feed providers email and message boards for important updates.
• Contributing to the improvement of the layout and setup for both live and upcoming pre-match sports events.

You're good at

• You have a strong knowledge of major sports and a solid understanding of how live betting works.
• Ability to work accurately with live data and quickly spot issues.
• You are comfortable using internal tools and monitoring systems, such as data feeds, message boards, and email alerts.
• You can clearly report issues to relevant teams, keep supervisors updated, and respond promptly to technical or event-related challenges.
• You have strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 sporting events.
• Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction.
