We are excited to offer an opportunity to join Marabu Airlines as Tallinn Base Manager - Cabin Safety & Procedures.

In this hybrid position, you will lead our Tallinn-based Cabin Crew while driving the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all cabin safety and procedural standards across Marabu Airlines. You will ensure compliance with regulatory, operational, and company requirements while fostering a strong safety and service culture at the base.

The role reports to the Head of Cabin Management and works closely with other Base Managers, Flight Operations, Safety, Compliance, and HR teams. It is primarily an office-based position with limited flying duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Tallinn Base Leadership

  • Act as Base Manager for all Tallinn-based Cabin Crew, ensuring effective leadership, engagement, and communication
  • Oversee crew performance, professional development, and wellbeing
  • Conduct regular briefings, feedback sessions, and follow-ups to sustain high safety and service standards
  • Handle performance and conduct matters in close coordination with HR and the Head of Cabin Management
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-conscious base culture

Cabin Safety & Procedures Management

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate all Cabin Operations Manuals, safety procedures, and related documentation in compliance with EASA and IOSA standards
  • Ensure consistent application of cabin safety, security, medical, and emergency procedures across all operations
  • Manage the Cabin Operations library and safety documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and audit readiness
  • Coordinate with Flight Operations and other stakeholders on changes affecting cabin procedures or technical processes
  • Lead risk assessments, safety investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives within Cabin Operations
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring findings are addressed and implemented in a timely manner

Flying Duties

  • Maintain line currency and operational insight by flying approximately one trip per month (2–4 days/month)
Requirements
  • Valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation and current flying qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience as Senior Cabin Crew Member, Purser, or in a comparable leadership function
  • Solid understanding of EASA & IOSA standards, airline safety, and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical content into practical guidance. (usage of WebManuals, Microsoft Office and IQSMS)
  • Structured and analytical working style with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English; Estonian and/or German are an advantage
  • Knowledge about Estonian labor law is an advantage
