JELD-WEN is seeking a results-driven and strategic Category Manager to join our European Procurement Team.


This position is based in Tallinn, Estonia, with opportunities for remote or flexible work arrangements.

This role focuses on the Hardware category within direct materials, leading category strategies, optimizing procurement processes, and building strong supplier partnerships to deliver value across the organization. It requires a combination of analytical thinking, market insight, and negotiation expertise to drive cost efficiency and innovation.

JELD-WEN is seeking a results-driven and strategic Category Manager to join our European Procurement Team.


This position is based in Tallinn, Estonia, with opportunities for remote or flexible work arrangements.

This role focuses on the Hardware category within direct materials, leading category strategies, optimizing procurement processes, and building strong supplier partnerships to deliver value across the organization. It requires a combination of analytical thinking, market insight, and negotiation expertise to drive cost efficiency and innovation.

Purpose of the Role
Support the development of a strong sourcing function by managing supplier relationships, driving total cost management, and ensuring alignment with business goals through robust sourcing strategies and measurable KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own annual budget, forecasting, and reporting for assigned spend areas.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including risk mitigation and cost competitiveness.
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiations; manage performance and relationships.
  • Drive sourcing projects to reduce total cost of ownership and enable innovation.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate supplier/SKU rationalization and ensure process consistency across regions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management).
  • Act as a role model for JELD-WEN values and ensure compliance with sourcing processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in global procurement and category management.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills; commercially astute.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage challenging situations.
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); strong communication and presentation skills.
