We're looking for an experienced PR Manager to handle our media relations in Estonia. This will be a temporary contract for maternity leave cover (at least until July 2027).

About the role

The PR Manager will be the prime media contact for Bolt in our home market Estonia, where Bolt is a household name and everything we do attracts significant media attention. 

You will be in charge of building and implementing the PR strategy and tactics, and supporting any projects by other teams. We're looking for someone with a long-term strategic approach to PR who can build Bolt's narrative and protect our reputation in our home market. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Owning media relations in Estonia - building and maintaining good relationships with journalists, responding to media inquiries, staffing interviews and press events.
  • Developing and implementing long-term PR strategies, tactical plans and campaigns that strengthen Bolt's position in Estonia.
  • Working together with marketing, social media, brand and public policy teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Preventing and managing communication crises.
  • Training spokespeople, ensuring they are prepared to represent the company during any media engagements and public events.

About you:

  • You've got strong experience in PR, creating a network of journalists along the way.
  • You've been building and executing PR strategies with a proven track record of driving long-term narratives in the public space.
  • You have experience in crisis communications and policy-related issues and are able to manage unexpected situations.
  • You have excellent project management and reporting skills and you feel at home in environments where teamwork and aligning with stakeholders is key.
  • You thrive in an environment with many challenges and uncertainties by leveraging a "get-it-done" attitude.
  • Your written and spoken Estonian and English are flawless.
