In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring supplier compliance with quality requirements throughout the qualification and development processes. Each day, you will ensure that suppliers, as well as supplied materials and services, conform to ABB standards and support the organization in mitigating risks to manufacturing schedules and enhancing product quality. This role contributes to the Motion High Power Division in Estonia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Ensuring suppliers have a clear understanding of ABB requirements on quality and capability to fulfil those.
Systematically and timely solving supplier quality issues to ensure high quality of ABB products and mitigating risks to the manufacturing schedules.
Driving approval process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites for supplier parts, materials, services.
Creating and implementing supplier quality development plans based on qualification findings or performance gaps.
Conducting both supplier audits and internal management system audits

Qualifications for the role
You have a higher technical education, preferably in quality or engineering field
You have 3+ years of experience in supplier quality management or a related field.
You are highly skilled in using O365, and familiarity with SAP and PowerBI is recommended.
You are systematic, analytical, and results-oriented, with strong accountability and persistence.
You are at ease communicating in English (excellent oral and written) and Estonian (good oral and written); Russian is beneficial.
