The Quillen College of Medicine seeks a Director of Continuing Medical Education ( CME ) to lead our efforts in enhancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers across the region. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing educational programs that identify and address professional practice gaps within the healthcare community. In this role, you will develop engaging educational content tailored to rectify competency deficiencies, employing a variety of delivery methods, including live and online activities. Your strategic partnerships with health systems, universities, colleges, and healthcare organizations, as well as state, regional, and local agencies, will be crucial in creating impactful educational experiences. You will also be responsible for measuring outcomes to ensure that competencies are achieved, driving continuous improvement in our CME initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing medical education and committed to fostering collaborative relationships within the healthcare landscape. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred in health sciences, health education, public health, business, or healthcare management. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a health administration-related profession highly preferred. Direct supervisory experience preferred. Proven experience in project management and planning. Experience in curriculum development and assessment within a higher education setting. Previous experience as a trainer or educator in an academic environment preferred. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
