Role Overview:

As we expand into international markets, we are looking for a strategic and proactive B2B Key account manager to grow our footprint and establish lasting partnerships across Germany, with a strong focus on the region East Germany (Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen). This is a high-impact role that will directly shape our expansion strategy, build brand presence, and foster relationships within the building, roofing, and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships, establishing a robust network within the building, roofing, and construction industry, with a focus on (solar) roofing systems.
  • Research and identify potential clients or business opportunities. Use tools like CRM systems, LinkedIn, or industry databases to gather leads. Cold call, email, or network to initiate contact with potential customers.
  • Book and organise own appointments with new clients
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations. Address client objections and provide solutions to meet their specific needs. Highlight ROI and business benefits.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to secure favourable agreements. Work collaboratively with legal and procurement teams when required. Ensure mutual agreement and satisfaction in deal closure.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders, positioning Solarstone as a trusted and forward-thinking partner.
  • Manage and optimize sales budgets and forecasts, driving a results-oriented approach to maximize revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest in solar technology and roofing solutions, integrating industry knowledge into market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the German Green Energy or construction industry.
  • Strong business network within the building, housing, construction, or roofing industry.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Solid understanding of building construction, roofing systems and solar technology.
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and proactive with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Comfortable with Photovoltaic technology and engineering at a basic level.
