Business Developer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Identify and bring in new clients aligned with the company's strategy and profile – supported by both your immediate team and our service teams.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring regular contact with key accounts.
- Lead the preparation of proposals and negotiations, keeping a strong focus on achieving results.
- Manage the sales pipeline: set goals, offer additional services, and ensure systematic handling of new leads (including through Pipedrive).
- Oversee the bidding processes for public tenders in Estonia and across Europe – monitor tender announcements, coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, involve relevant teams, and ensure all documentation meets tender requirements.
- Lead internal collaboration and service development by engaging specialists, creating work plans, and facilitating regular meetings to support proposals, projects, and the design of new services.
- Develop and represent the company brand by participating in industry events and implementing initiatives to increase visibility.
Our expectations of you:
- Ability to lead the proposal process from start to finish – coordinating the team's work, compiling supporting documentation required by tenders (CVs, company experience descriptions, etc.), and contributing to proposal content when needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex situations while considering the perspectives of all parties involved.
- Strong time-management skills, including leading meetings and motivating teams.
- Ability to balance multiple sales projects at once, while maintaining focus on existing client relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Commitment to agreed targets, with the ability to analyze results and provide input for improving business development strategies.
- Good knowledge of public procurement legislation, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Understanding of the IT services business.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive).
- Excellent written and spoken Estonian and English.
It will be an advantage if you have:
- Proficiency in an additional foreign language besides English.
- Interest in and basic knowledge of user experience (UX) design.
- Experience working with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
